Pricing

Pricing: pay for volume, not for features

Every plan gets the same checks and the same exports. Plans differ in how many BOMs you convert per month and how long a PDF may be. No account on any plan: a paid plan is a page code that arrives by email.

Definition

What the plans measure

A BOM is one PDF file you convert. Plans set how many such files you convert per month and how many pages of each file are converted. The checks, the grid and the exports do not change with the plan. Behind a paid plan sits a page code counted in pages, BOMs × 150, so the pages a short BOM does not use stay on the code.

Steps

Choosing a plan

  1. Count your BOMs

Free is 1 file per day. If you convert more than a few BOMs a week, Pro's 150 a month is the next step.

  2. Check your longest PDF

Free converts the first 10 pages of a file and says when it cut one. Pro and Team convert files up to 150 pages.

  3. Count the people

Team covers 3 seats and 500 BOMs per month: one code, entered in each person's browser, so quoting and purchasing can share one plan.

FAQ

Pricing questions

What counts as one BOM?

One PDF file that you convert. A 12-page PDF is one BOM; the free allowance converts its first 10 pages and says so. A paid plan is kept on a page code counted in pages (BOMs × 150), so that 12-page BOM takes 12 pages off the code and a short BOM leaves more for a long one.

What does the free allowance include?

1 file per day, up to 10 pages, no account. The allowance is counted per device by the server. All checks and all exports are included.

Do the paid plans have more features?

No. The checks and the exports (normalized CSV, upload CSV, XLSX, JSON, validation report) are the same on every plan. Plans differ by volume and file size: BOMs per month, files up to 150 pages instead of 10, and, on Team, seats.

What does Pro include?

$49 per month: 150 BOMs per month, files up to 150 pages. Each month the subscription tops up your page code with 150 × 150 = 22,500 pages. CSV, XLSX, JSON and the validation report, as on every plan.

What does Team add to Pro?

$99 per month: everything in Pro, 500 BOMs per month (500 × 150 = 75,000 pages a month on the code), files up to 150 pages, and 3 seats. There are no accounts: the same code is entered in each person's browser, and all of them draw on the same pages.

Can several people use one page code?

Yes. A code is not tied to a browser. Enter the same code in several browsers and every conversion made with it comes off the same pages. Pro is sized for one person (150 BOMs a month); Team for 3 (500).

How do I get the page code, and where do I enter it?

After the first payment, an email from BOMParser ([email protected]) brings your page code; each renewal tops up that same code. Enter it once in the "Have a page code?" box on this page or above the uploader. It stays in that browser and is sent with each conversion. Allow a few minutes for the email and check spam; if it does not arrive, reply to [email protected].

When is the page code used?

Only when the free allowance cannot cover a file: the file is over 10 pages, or the free file for the day is already used. A 10-page BOM on a fresh day costs nothing from the code. Files up to 150 pages convert in full, and the page shows how many pages are left after each conversion that used the code.

Do unused pages expire?

No. Pages you do not use roll over to the next month and never expire. If you cancel the subscription, the pages already paid for stay on your code; they just stop being topped up.

What happens when a PDF is over the page limit?

Files over 10 pages are converted up to page 10 on the free allowance; a page code converts the whole file, up to 150 pages. The file is not refused: the page shows a notice such as "Only the first 10 of 24 pages were converted", and every download gets -partial in its file name so it is not mistaken for the full BOM. A page code also stops at the pages left on it.

How is billing handled?

Pro and Team are monthly PayPal subscriptions in US dollars. The Subscribe button opens PayPal checkout for that plan; once you approve the subscription, PayPal sends you back to this page and the page code follows by email from [email protected]. Your payment details stay with PayPal; BOMParser receives the email address the code is sent to. If checkout cannot be started, this page says so and gives [email protected] to subscribe by email instead.

How do I stop a subscription?

Cancel it in your PayPal account under automatic payments, or email [email protected] from the address you subscribed with. The pages already on your code stay usable.

Do you issue invoices with tax IDs?

Not at the moment. Receipts come from PayPal. BOMParser does not issue its own invoices with tax IDs.

Is there a trial besides the free allowance?

No. The free allowance is the trial: 1 file per day, up to 10 pages, no account. Use it on a real BOM to see whether the checks catch something in your files.
